Hochzeitsfotograf Alexander Hahn aus Hannover – International Wedding Photographer – Blog

A few years ago I couldn´t even imagine to shoot a wedding in the United States. But sometimes wishes come true. I have photographed Katie & Ben´s civil ceremony last year here in Hannover. And after they got their pictures they asked me to come over to great Michigan to be their wedding photographer at the big day in Davison one year later. I absolutely loved to, so we talked about the wedding in the US and I booked my flight and had one great week in Michigan. From the wedding in Germany I knew some people who attended here and during the day I felt more and more to be a part of the Herta´s and Hudson´s families. And I met a lot of new people up there and some also talked German.
Weddings in the US are a little bit different to Germany but I like a lot of those special things – and most of it the “Booze Cruise”. The bride and groom rented a limo and the whole bridal party and some friends were driving around the Flint area to just have fun – and of course to take some pictures! We had so much fun out there. I also really like the line dance at the reception. Kind of cool when all visitors at every age got their hips on the dancefloor … they liked to move it And now enjoy some pictures of the day!

Vor ein paar Jahren noch hätte ich mir nicht vorstellen können einmal als Hochzeitsfotograf in die USA zu fliegen. Ich habe im letzten Jahr die standesamtliche Hochzeit von Katie und Ben hier in Hannover als Fotograf begleitet und nachdem sie ihre Fotos in den Händen hielten fragten die beiden mich, ob ich nicht auch die Hochzeit in den USA fotografieren wolle. Natürlich konnte ich da nicht nein sagen und buchte meinen Flug und hatte eine großartige Woche in Michigan. Ich kannte bereits einige Leute von der Hochzeit in Deutschland und ich traf wieder viel neue nette Menschen – einige sprachen sogar deutsch.
Hochzeiten in den USA sind ein wenig anders als in Deutschland gewohnt, aber ich mag diese kleinen Unterschiede – speziell den “Booze Cruise”. Dabei mietet das Brautpaar eine Limo und man fährt mit den Trauzeugen und einigen Freunden einfach durch die Gegend um ein wenig Spass zu haben – und natürlich um einige Fotos zu machen. Wir haben eine Menge gelacht. Ich mag auch sehr den Line Dance am Abend, wo jeder Gast egal welchen Alters seine Hüften aufs Tanzparkett schwingt. Aber nun genießt die Fotos!
